The Alpha, The Beginning, The Ones
The Air Jordan 1 is the alpha, the beginning, and the launch of the Air Jordan concept as a whole. The Air Jordan 1 designed by shoe connoisseur Peter Moore was released by Nike in 1985. With the unveiling of the shoe that forever shaped the sneaker game the Air Jordan 1 was considered by many a breakthrough in the design and concepts of a basketball shoe. Although the shoe’s initial design was improved upon later with the Nike Dunk the “ones” was defiantly not only the first of the Jordan series but a first in the move away from old way of sneaker designing. The 1s initially gained a great deal of publicity and interest because its vibrant black and red color violated the league's uniform rules and when Michael was fined five thousand dollars every time he wore the shoes during a game. Nevertheless, other companies scrambled to model their design after the shoe and introducing knock-off brands of the Air Jordan line. In 1994 the Air Jordan 1 was re-released with dismal success. The Air Jordan 1 to date has been the most retrod and remixed Air Jordan from the series with the 90+ shoe colors. It’s safe to say the launch of the ones has definitely propelled the Air Jordan brand to heights only dreamed of. The Air Jordan 1 is the vetern in the jordan series but they are definately still "the ones".

A Melodic Blend Of Fresh
In my opinion the Air Jordan 6 Rings shoe is by far one of the best designed shoe in the collection to date. The shoe is a well blended combination of all seven of the Air Jordan shoes that the legendary Michael Jordan wore during his 6 Championship seasons. That includes the Air Jordan 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14. Nike and Air Jordan released the appropriately titled "6 Rings" shoe in September of 2008. To strengthen Jordan ’s legacy the Jordan Brand has since released colors of each team that the Chicago Bulls defeated in their six championship seasons in the 1990s. The colors and NBA teams that the 6 rings series now embody included the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Seattle Super Sonics, and Utah Jazz. There is also an Olympic version which includes colors from the dream team, a version inspired by Hip Hop artist Nelly, and a version of the shoe that combines the colors of all the teams that the Chicago Bulls defeated in the NBA Finals during their 8 year dynasty from 1991 to 1998 which included six championships. A 75% chance of winning an NBA title during the Chicago Bulls 8 year run was a remarkable percentage in sports which included two 3 peats. The 6 out of 8 ratio sounds like a winning combination that is almost impossible in sports especially at the professional level. But overall the melodic blend of all 6 shoes is a ratio that can’t be rivaled by any shoe in the Jordan collection. This shoe is a winner in all respects from the design, to the name, and to what the shoe stands for. I am an owner of a pair Air Jordan 6 rings and would highly recommend a cup of this melodic smooth blend of fresh.
